The eighth edition of Dhaka Lit Fest organised by directors Sadaf Saaz, Ahsan Akbar and K Anis Ahmed, will be held at Bangla Academy between Nov 8 and 10.

This year’s line-up features Pulitzer Prize-winning author Adam Johnson, literary icon Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay, leading writer Mohammed Hanif, award-winning actor Manisha Koirala, Academy Award-winning actor Tilda Swinton, award-winning actor and director Nandita Das with her new film Manto, Philip Hensher, Syed Manzoorul Islam, Imdadul Haq Milon, Kaiser Haq and Selina Hossain, among others.

Over 200 speakers, performers and thinkers, representing 15 countries, will take part in the 3-day event with over 90 sessions, all which are free and open to all. One of the great highlights of this year will be Nandita Das, talking about her film Manto. The festival will also host the launch of the Cambridge Short Story Prize.
