A son of a retired police officer found hanged at his residence in the capital's Kakrail area on Sunday morning.
The deceased is identified as Rakibul Hasan Ripon, 35, son of MA Rafiq.
“Ripon has hanged himself with the ceiling fan in his room and being rescued, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor declared him dead, said victim’s elder brother Liton.
Sub-inspector Baccu Mia at DMCH police camp has confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune.
