Record 21,111 graduates to attend DU convocation today

President Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of the university, will preside over the gala event at the central playground on DU campus.
National Professor Anisuzzaman will be present as the convocation speaker.

Registered graduates of the 7 affiliated colleges of Dhaka University will also participate in this convocation for the first time.
There will be two extended venues at two of the DU affiliated colleges–Eden Mohila College and Dhaka College– where around 4,000 graduates will participate. They will be connected with the main venue through digital technology.

A total of 96 researchers were conferred with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees and 81 got Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degrees. Teachers and students of DU and the affiliated colleges have already collected their invitation cards and academic costumes.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman sought cooperation of all to make the convocation a success and requested the people to use alternative roads of the university on the day.
