The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested the personal secretary of land minister in a corruption case involving a plot of land in Dhaka.
Kutubuddin Ahmed was attested from the capital’s Segunbagicha on Sunday after a case was filed against him, said ACC Deputy Director Pranab Kuman Bhattacharya.
“He has been held in a case regarding a 15-decimal land plot in Dhaka’s Gulshan,” he said.
Ahmed stands accused of abusing his official capacity and resorting to fraud to procure the plot in the capital’s upscale neighbourhood.
