Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered authorities concerned to provide necessary help to the families of those who died and those injured in the deadly fire at Chawkbazar.
“The PM has directed the concerned authorities to provide necessary treatment to the injured and full support to the deceased’s families,” said PM’s Press Secretary Ihasanul Karim on Thursday (Feb 21).
He added that the head of the government has ordered them to stand beside the victims of the tragedy with utmost sincerity.
Meanwhile, according to Ganobhaban sources, PM Hasina has expressed profound shock and grief at the incident that has claimed 70 lives so far.
