Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina is set to campaign in the northern district of Rangpur on Sunday (Dec 23).

The prime minister will attend two rallies during her stay in Rangpur, said Awami League Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap.

Around 10am on Sunday the ruling party president is scheduled to address a rally, organised by the local unit of Awami League, at the Taraganj Degree College field.

Around 2:30pm Hasina will address a polls campaign rally as the chief guest.

Local and central ruling party leaders along with leaders and activists from the Grand Alliance will take part in the rallies.

On Monday (Dec 24) the prime minister is set to take part in a polls campaign event at the capital’s Kamrangirchar area.
