Election Commission (EC) has started delivering election materials to different areas of the country ahead of 11th parliamentary election slated for Dec 30.
EC is almost done with polls-preparations except for printing ballots which will be sent to all constituencies in the last week of December, said EC Additional Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman.
On Saturday (Dec 8) morning, EC said they have sent election materials to 32 districts while they will deliver the materials to rest of the districts on Sunday (Dec 9).
“The ballot papers will be printed after the finalization of candidates of the political parties and then forwarded to the returning officers gradually,” added Rahman.
On Saturday EC sent election materials to Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal division.
The 11th parliamentary national election is scheduled to be held on Dec 30.
