Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda will meet President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the capital on Thursday afternoon (Nov 1).
“An Election Commission (EC) delegation led by its CEC is scheduled to meet with the President at Bangabhaban at 4 pm tomorrow,” President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS on Wednesday.
The CEC will be accompanied by four election commissioners during the meeting.
Taking to BSS, EC secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed said, “It’s a courtesy call-on.”
“We’ll apprise the hounrable President of overall preparations for the next Jatiya Sangsad election,” he added.
