Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations-2018 begin across the country on Thursday with the participation of 26, 70,333 examinees.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid visited Motijheel Government Boys' School and have a talk with examines and their guardians outside the examination centre.

As many as 26,70,333 students from 29,677 educational institutions will appear in this year’s examinations. Of them, 12, 23,732 are male and 14, 46,601 are female.
The number of JSC examinees is 22, 67,343 while 4,02,990 examinees will participate in the JDC examination this year, they said adding, a total of 578 students from nine overseas centres will appear in the JSC examinations.
The JSC and JDC examinations will end on Nov 14.
