The Bangladesh Technical Education Board Bill, 2018 has been passed in Parliament.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid moved the bill in the House on Sunday (Oct 28) which was unanimously passed by voice votes with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Piloting the bill, the education minister said the proposed bill will enhance SSC
(Vocational) Dakhil (Vocational), BM and Diploma level all education, research under the Technical Education Board.
The proposed bill would also create new entrepreneur and employment generation through students having the certificate from the board, he added.
