Former apex court judge Kamrul Islam Siddique has died on Saturday, the Supreme Court’s Special Officer Saifur Rahman said.
Justice Siddique died at a hospital in the capital at 9:50 am, he added. His Funeral Prayer will be held at Supreme Court Premises after Zuhr.
Justice Siddique was the son of famed journalist Late Abdul Wahab Siddique in the 30’s and 40’s of the then British India.
Justice Kamul was appointed as the High Court Judge on Aug 28 of 2004. He retired on May 29, 2017.
