Saudi Arabia will observe Eid Friday as the Swaal moon has been sighted in the Gulf countries.
Eid also be observed in the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Indonesia.
However, Muslims in Australia and New Zealand will observe Eid on Saturday as the moon was not sighted in those countries on Thursday.
According to the Muslim calendar, Swaal comes after Ramadan, when Muslims fast whole day to get the mercy of Almighty.
Eid formality begins with congregation in the morning and after that everybody hug each other for greetings.
