The UK government has decided to provide extra finances to ensure security at mosques in Tower Hamlets in London which is predominantly inhabited by British Bangladeshis.

The declaration came from London mayor, Sadiq Khan, after the attack on a mosque in Christchurch in New Zealand, in which fifty persons were killed.

The UK home ministry has taken the decision to provide 5 million Pounds under the ‘fund for security at places of religious worship.’
