'Iti, Tomari Dhaka' to hit theatres on Nov 15

'Iti,Tomari Dhaka' premiered on Oct 7, 2018, at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in the section A Window on Asian Cinema.Bangladesh's first anthology film, "Iti, Tomari Dhaka" is set to be released in theatres on Nov 15. The film will be screened at all major cinema halls, including the multiplexes in Dhaka and Chattogram.
“This is the first time in history that a film will show Dhaka from eleven different perspectives. The film upholds international standards. I urge the young audiences to come to the theatres and support these young talents,” Creative Producer Abu Shahed Emon told English daily Dhaka Tribune on Saturday (Nov 2) after the teaser was released.

The films were made by 11 young directors: Abdullah Al Noor, Golam Kibria Farooki, Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Mahmudul Islam, Md Robiul Alam, Mir Mukarram Hossain, Nuhash Humayun, Rahat Rahman, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Syed Saleh Ahmed Sobhan and Tanvir Ahsan.
The film features several notable actors, including Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Iresh Zaker, Shatabdi Wadud, Lutfor Rahman George and Tropa Mazumdar.
The film premiered on Oct 7, 2018, at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in the section A Window on Asian Cinema.
