The date for Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti elections has been postponed to Oct 25, due to the busy schedule of Chief Election Commissioner, Ilias Kanchan. Earlier, the elections were to be held on Oct 18.
Election Commissioner Ilias Kanchan confirmed that his engagements for the Safe Road Day (Oct 22) will keep him occupied. Therefore, a new date and a revised schedule have been announced.
Current President of the Association Misa Sawdagar and the General Secretary Zayed Khan will run from the same panel. Moushumi and DA Tayeb will compete from the opposition panel.
The last election was held on May 5, 2017.
