Actor Jaya Ahsan was one of the celebrities who watched the final match of the ICC World Cup 2019 at the Lord's Cricket Ground in London on Sunday (Jul 14).
Live videos and photos posted on her official Facebook page showed that the popular actor thoroughly enjoyed the nerve-wrecking match.
England ended their 44-year wait for a maiden 50-over World Cup title by beating a gutsy New Zealand side on boundaries after a tied Super Over amidst heart-stopping drama at Lord’s.
In one of her posts, Jaya wrote: “It was a match to remember!! Moments from the final of #CWC2019. #EngvNz.”

In one of the photos, Jaya was also seen with another popular Bangladeshi model and actor Jannatul Ferdous Peya, who has been covering the tournament for private television channel GTV from the beginning.
Jaya had also gone live from her page during the Super Over.
On the other hand, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar watched the final as well at Lord's.
Kumar, who will be seen next in films “Mission Mangal” and “Sooryavanshi,” had joined Indian cricket legends Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh at the Star Sports studio at the stadium to talk about the match.
The actor was also spotted watching the match from the VIP area during New Zealand’s innings.
