Within a few minutes of its release, the trailer has gone viral on the internet. The trailer of Bharat, where Salman Khan is seen in five avatars, is being appreciated by everyone in the Hindi film industry. The King Khan of Bollywood also loved the trailer and couldn't help but tweet expressing his feelings about the trailer.
Addressing Salman Khan as Bhai, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob."
Ali Abbas Zafar-directed Bharat traces the journey of a man, Bharat, along with the country, since the stroke of midnight hour when India got its independence.
Keeping in tune with the subject of the film, the trailer of Bharat begins with Jawaharlal Nehru's famous speech, "At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom."
Apart from Salman Khan, Bharat stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles,. The film is an official remake of Korean film An Ode To My Father. However, director Ali Abbas Zafar has adapted it to Indian sensibilties. Bharat depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. The film will chronicle Salman's journey from the age of 18 to 70, reports IANS.
Ali Abbas Zafar said in an earlier interview that Salman will walk a different route with Bharat, "It is important to show Salman in a different light as Indian cinema is changing and leaving a mark with every film is important," said the director.
