The selection of the candidate for the upcoming Miss World to be held in China has begun at the BFDC (Bangladesh Film Development Corporation) in Dhaka.
The audition round for the Miss World Bangladesh 2018, will be judged by singer Shuvro Dev, actress Tarin, models Khaled Sujon, Emi and barrister Farabi.
Antor Showbiz Chairman, Shopon Chowdhury says: “The grand finale of the Miss World Bangladesh will be held by the first week of October and the winner in Bangladesh will leave for China on December 7 next.”
It’s believed that about thirty thousand applications were submitted this time.
“It’s heartening to see that guardians are coming to have their daughters registered,” enthused Shopon Chowdhury.
The audition programme is moderated by DJ Sonica and media partner ATN Bangla will soon telecast it.
