Amid the recent incident of several deaths by mob beating, Law Minister Anisul Huq has warned of legal action against the perpetrators of such occurrences.
“People who listen to the rumours [on blood sacrifice] for Padma Bridges and kill innocent people, will face legal action,” he said on Monday (Jul 22)
Speaking to media at a programme in Netrokona, the minister said, “If any crime happens, hand over the criminals to the police.
“Don’t take law at your hands,” Huq urged.
