Faruk Khan stresses on proper use of electricity

AL lawmaker Faruk Khan attends a programme on Friday.Bangladesh Awami League Presidium Member Muhammad Faruq Khan urged the people of the country to stop abuse of electricity and contribute to development making its proper use.
Addressing the people, he said, “For you, the country's highest development could be achievged during the present government’s tenure. Help the government to advance one step further preventing waste of electricity.”
The ruling party lawmaker came up with the observation Friday (June 9) while addressing a programme as the chief guest at Muksudpur-Govindapur Government Primary School premises at Goptaragati union under Muksudpur upazila in the district.
The programme was organised on occasion of providing power connection to around 700 customers under a Tk 11.9 million.
He also distributed zakat clothes among the people of the area.
Among others, Upazila Awami League President and mayor of the municipality Advocate Atiqur Rahman Miah, general secretary Rabiul Alam Sikder, former chairman of Khandarapara union Hashmat Ali Mallick, khandarapara union parishad chairman and secretary of Awami League Sabbir Khan also addressed the programme.
