Police have arrested a youth who defamed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a facebook post.
Shoeb Ahmed was arrested from Kamalganj of Moulvibazar in the early hours of Sunday as he posted a distorted picture of the prime minister and made derogatory remarks about her in his facebook page.
Kamalganj police station sub-inspector Champak Dam said, “The distorted picture and derogatory remarks were posted through Shoeb Ahmed ID.”
After seeing this, a local Jubo League leader, Maynul Haque, filed a case accusing him under ICT Act.
