US-Bangla Airlines steps into fifth year

US-Bangla AirlinesUS-Bangla Airlines, one of the leading private airlines of Bangladesh, has stepped into the fifth year of its operation on Tuesday. US-Bangla started its operation with its maiden flight on July 17, 2014.
Within four years of its successful operation, currently US-Bangla Airlines owns seven aircraft in its fleet. It commenced its operation with two Dash8-Q400 aircraft.
Currently, more than 330 flights are being operated weekly and more than 1400 effective workforces are employed here.
Managing Director of US-Bangla Airlines Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun said, “We are ready to take all kinds of challenge in the competitive market as we are going to add modern aircraft into our fleet. US Bangla Airlines are going to expand their operation in international sectors continuously.”
The airlines sources said that more two Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 777-200 ER aircraft will be joining its fleet.
Since its first operation, US-Bangla has already operated around 42,000 flights successfully in domestic and international routes and it operates more than 330 flights weekly.
In the domestic region, it operates from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Jessore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Barisal and Rajshahi routes and internationally, it operates to Kolkata, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou from Dhaka and to Muscat, Doha and Kolkata from Chittagong.
