Gas supply to Uttara, Baridhara and surrounding areas will be disrupted for nine hours from 6 am to 3 pm due to placing of gas pipelines on Monday (May 27).

According to a media statement from Titas Gas and Distribution Company on Sunday (May 26) gas supply will be completely off in the areas that fall between Joydebpur intersection and Banani rail crossing.

In addition to that gas pressure at Uttara, Joyarshahara and Baridhara DOHS will be extremely low.

The statement said that the 16 inches gas pipeline will be set close to an underpass project alignment near Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School and College

Hence, gas supply to the industrial areas and CNG filling stations between Joydepur intersection and Banani rail crossing will be off.
