The Cabinet didn’t approve the draft of the proposed Bangladesh Tariff Commission (Amendment) Act, 2018.
The decision was taken in the weekly meeting of the cabinet held at Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
After discussing, the cabinet returned it back with a proposal for further revision, Cabinet Secretary Md. Shafiul Alam said after the meeting.
A six-member committee has been constituted headed by the Principal Secretary to the PMO Nojibur Rahman in a bid to scrutinise the draft further, Shafiul Alam added.
