The jewellers’ forum has revised up prices of gold by Tk 100 per gram after about five months since it was last revised.
Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) said in a notice on Saturday that new prices will be effective from Sunday (Dec 23).
According to BAJUS, each gram of 22 Carat gold will now cost Tk 4,170 and each vori will cost Tk 48,638.88.
Earlier BAJUS revised down the price by Tk 100 on Aug 6.
The jewellers’ forum President Ganga Charan Malakar told Bangla Tribune that the move came as the price also went up in the international market.
