The banking sector is doing well but it needs to be reformed, says Finance Minister AMA Muhith.
“This sector has expanded a lot. There are too many banking organizations in the country and maybe we need to limit the sector a little,” he told the media on Wednesday (Oct 24).
“We will focus on how to best reform the financial institutions of the country” he added.
Muhith said that more focus will be given on the reformations in the banking sector.
When asked about the polls-time government, he said that the it might be formed this month and he will be a part of it.
