Mobile service operator Robi Axiata launched an application 'Noor' which is a digital way to pay Zakat, sadaqah and donation to helpless and needy people.



NBR Chairman Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, ndc formally launched the app at a ceremony at Hotel Intercontinental in the Capital on Monday (May 6).
The customers can donate their zakat, sadaqah to a number of verified charitable organization digitally through this apps.
Robi will not charge the donors in any shape or form for using the 'Noor app' platform for paying their zakat or for making sadaqah donations.
Besides the online zakat feature Robi in association with Bidyanondo Foundation is also introducing the first ever digital Iftar Vending machine 'Amar Iftar' initiative, which will enable the street children and elderly of the society to avail Iftar during the Holy month of Ramadan.
