Bangladesh women have defeated Thailand by two wickets to confirm their final against India in the T20 quadrangular series in Patna.
Thailand, putting to bat, post 120 for three in Patna on Tuesday (Jan 21) with Nattakan Chantam delivered a ball-by-ball 60.
Wicket-keeper Nannapat Koncharoenkai scored 28 off 37 balls while all-rounder Chanida Suttiruang fired a late 24 off 17 balls.
For Bangladesh, Jahanara Alam was the lone wicket taker removing Nattaya Boochatha in the first over of the match as rest two Thailand batters were run out.
Chasing the target, Shamima Sultana top-scored 38 off 37 balls to help the Tigresses chase reach home at the last delivery of the match.
Bangladesh, however, continued losing wickets regularly.
Fahima Khatun added 28 not out off 13 balls and Sanjida Islam scored 21 off 23 balls while NIgar Sultana contributed 15 off 19 balls.
Ratanporn Padunglerd was the pick of the Thailand blowers, claiming 3-14 while Nattaya Boochatham and Wongpaka Liengprasert shared three wickets.
Bangladesh will take on India in the final on Wednesday (Jan 22).
