Bangladesh has agreed to tour Pakistan thrice in four months to play T20s, ODI, Tests, says the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
"Bangladesh will visit Pakistan thrice, which should give them the comfort that Pakistan is as safe and secure as any other cricket playing country," a PCB statement on Tuesday (Jan 14) quoted its Chief Executive Wasim Khan.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has also confirmed of the development.
"The Pakistan Cricket Board's statement is true. We will announce it officially today," BCB Chief Executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury told Bangla Tribune.
According to PCB, the development came after PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani and Khan met the Bangladesh Cricket Board officials in Dubai the same day.
International Cricket Council Chairman Shashank Manohar facilitated the meeting, it said.
“The split series across three venues will also provide fans and followers to watch live in action their favourite players and support good cricket from either side,” reads the PCB statement.
Tests against Sri Lanka last month in Rawalpindi and Karachi were Pakistan's first on home soil since a militant attack on Sri Lanka's team bus in Lahore in 2009.

In the revised arrangement, Bangladesh will play three T20s in Lahore between Jan 24 and 27, then return to Pakistan for a test match starting on Feb 7 in Rawalpindi that will be a part of the ICC World Championship.
Bangladesh will play an ODI in Karachi on Apr 3, with the second test starting two days later at the same venue.
