No Tests in upcoming Pakistan tour: BCB chief

Amid the speculation over whether Bangladesh would send their team to play Tests in Pakistan, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has now clarified that they will play no Test during the upcoming tour in the country next year.

Nazmul said players and foreign coaching staff are reluctant to stay Pakistan for long.
According to BCB sources, several coaching staff had even appealed for leave during the tour, as planned in January-February, citing security concern.
"Most of the coaching staff are unwilling [to tour Pakistan]. A few agree to tour if it's shortened... Many of the players also don't want to go for family reasons," the BCB chief said.
The BCB has deiced to play T20s in Pakistan and is making the necessary arrangements.
"We are working on though we are yet to receive the clearance from the government. Besides, we need to talk to the players too," Nazmul said.

The BCB President, however, hoped the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would understand the situation.
"We are hopeful that they (PCB) would realize our problems," Nazmul said.
