Bangladesh bagged its second gold medal in the 13th South Asian Games when Mohammad Al Amin clinched gold in the men's 60kg kumite event in karate at Satdobato International Sports Complex in Kathmandu on Tuesday (Dec 3).
Al Amin beat Pakistani karateka in the final by four points to secure the top place. Nepal won bronze in the same event which was the day's first event of karate.
Karate won two silver and seven bronze on Monday (Dec 3).
Earlier, Bangladesh won its first gold medal in taekwondo on Monday when Dipu Chakma clinched gold in the 29+ age category in poomsae event.
