"I'm having a mixed feeling because it’s good to earn Bangladesh the first medal but gutted not to win the highest medal," said Antara after the end of her event where Pakistan and Nepal won gold and silver respectively.

"Actually I expected more but a little bit dis-balance on the mat caused the problem. My main event is kumite which will be held tomorrow (Tuesday). I'll give my best to win more than just bronze."

Antara, who just completed her HSC this year, will compete in the women's 61kg kumite event on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, one of the country's top karate players, Mohammad Hasan Khan failed to perform up to the expectation as he also won bronze in the men's individual kata event Monday morning.
