Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will ring the customary Eden Bell jointly on Nov 22 to kick off the first-ever day-night Test of the countries.
Both will be seen at the bell ringing ceremony to start off the first day’s proceedings, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Secretary Avishek Dalmiya told the media in Kolkata, reports PTI.
Bangladesh and India both will be playing their first-ever pink ball game at Eden Gardens scheduled for Nov 22-26.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and CAB are going to felicitate Hasina and former cricketers at the ceremony arranged for the game.
