The second T20I match between India and Bangladesh at Rajkot had faced uncertainty from cyclone Maha but a sunny Thursday (Nov 7) has dissipated all fears of inclement weather. So, the match will go on.
On Wednesday (Nov 6), there was fierce rainfall accompanied by gusty wind and the situation remained unchanged throughout the night. However, the morning heralded a bright day.
The match will start at 7:00 Bangladesh Standard Time and leading the three-match series with the first win, Bangladesh is filled with confidence while India will be desperate to come back. Though India has the record of losing four T20 series on home soil to England, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
If Bangladesh wins today then the series will be secured and the tigers will have won on Indian soil.
Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah is confident and said: “This is a great chance for us and all our boys are eager to show their mettle; to beat India, we have to play our best game.”
