Cricketer Taijul fined for not wearing helmet

Police also slapped him with a fine for not wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle, the left-arm spinner himself confirmed Bangla Tribune.
Taijul, who played 25 Tests, and 71 T20 matches, hails from Naldanga Upazila of Natore, some 200 kilometres north to Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh.
Naldanga police OC Shafiur Rahman told Bangla Tribune, "Taijul was returning his Naldanga home from the district town on a motorcycle in the afternoon.
"As the cricketer rode without a helmet, police sued him and fined Tk 200," the OC said.
