Afghanistan are in trouble after losing seven wickets as Bangladesh bowlers continued to repeated attack in the sixth and final match of the group stage of T20I Tri-nation Series at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday (Sept 21).
Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai started solid before Afif Hossain brought the breakthrough.
Afif took out Zazai (47 off 35 balls) and Asghar Afghan with a gap of one delivery in 10th over.
Mustafizur Rahman then dismissed Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the next over.
Shakib Al Hasan took a big wicket for the Tiger when he trapped Mohammad Nabi for an lbw in the fourth delivery of the 13th over.
Afghanistan fell in trouble after losing Gulbadin Naib in the 14th over as they were reduced to 96/5.

Earlier, Tigers captain Shakib al Hasan won the toss and sent Afghanistan to bat first.
The hosts replaced injured Aminul Islam with Sabbir Rahman. Afghanistan brought debutants Naveen-ul-Haq and Karim Janat in their XI leaving out Fazal Niazai and Dawlat Zadran.
In the series’ previous face-off, Afghanistan comfortably defeated Bangladesh by 25 runs. Both the teams, however, have qualified for the final.
