Ryan Burl's quick-fired a 57 have helped Zimbabwe post 144 for five in the rain-reduced 18-over match of the Tri-nation T20 series in Dhaka.
Hamilton Masakadza scored 34 with Tinotenda Mutombodzi and Craig Ervine adding 27 and 11 runs respectively to take Zimbabwe, sending to bat first, to a moderate total at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Friday (Sept 13).
Taijul Islam, however, threw an early blow dismissing Brendan Taylor in the second over of the innings.
Lately, the visitors managed to come out of the shadow of the host's attacks as Burl and Mutombodzi built an 81-run partnership in the sixth wicket.
