Bangladeshi archer Mohammad Ruman Shana has won gold in the recurve men’s singles of the ongoing Asia Cup-World Ranking Archery Tournament’s Stage-3.
The 24-year-old beat China’s Shi Zhengi by 7-3 set points in the final at Clark City in Philippines on Friday (Sept 13).
In the recurve men's team event, Bangladesh archery team comprising of Shana, Tamimul Islam and Hakim Ahmed Rubel clinched silver.
They conceded a 3-5 set points defeat to Chinese team in the final.
Bangladesh archers came in third in the mixed recurve team event. Shana and his teammate Beauty Rai bagged bronze beating Yu-Chen Yeh and Zih-Siang Lin of Chinese Taipei by 5-1 set points.
