Having dominated in only their third ever Test, Afghanistan reduced the home side to 136 for six before rain forced an early close to the fourth day at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday (Sept 8).

Chasing an improbable 398, Bangladesh still requires 262 to win with skipper Shakib Al Hasan unbeaten on 39 alongside Soumya Sarkar who is yet to score.

Earlier, Afghanistan were bowled out for 260 runs in their second innings and set 398-run target for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh made 205 runs in their first innings while Afghanistan scored 342 runs in their first innings.
