Jewel Ahmed and Junayna AhmedBangladesh swimmers Jewel Ahmed and Junayna Ahmed put in disappointing displays in their respective final events at the World Swimming Championship Saturday (Jul 27) in South Korea.
Junayna finished 86th out of 100 participants in the 50m freestyle after clocking 30.96s while Jewel ended 62nd out of 74 in the 50m backstroke following his 29.33s finish.
Earlier, Junayna finished 32nd out 33 in the 200m butterfly while Jewel ended 62nd out of 63 in the 100m backstroke.
Other Bangladesh swimmer Ariful Islam earlier finished 78th and 92nd in the 100m breaststroke and 50m freestyle respectively.
