Shakib Al Hasan during a net sessionAfter hitting a brilliant unbeaten 124 to crush West Indies by seven wickets in the Tigers' World Cup encounter in Taunton, Bangladesh all-round Shakib Al Hasan said they are not thinking much about the challenge of pace barrage by Australia in their next match.
"We are not worried over Australia's pace attack," said confident Shakib on Wednesday (Jun 19).
Five times World Cup champion, Australia, too, have the best pace attack of this year's tournament with Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc are among the top five wicket-takers.
Shakib, however, said that after playing the previous matches, they are prepared to face pace barrage from Aussie fast blowers.
"Bangladesh faced some of the tournament's best pacers in their last four matches with some bowled with over a 140kmph pace.
"So, we got enough time to adopt against their [Australia] pace attack," said Shakib, who is now the tournament's top scorer.
