Bangladesh bowlers bowled superbly to restrict defending champions India to 112 runs for 9 in the final of the ACC ASIA Cup Women T20 cricket final at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday.
Bangladesh skipper won the toss and invited India to bat first. Favourite India managed only 112 for 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs due excellent bowling and attacking fielding of Bangladesh team. Brilliant 56 runs by Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur saved her team from a total embarrassment.
Khadija and Rumana captured two wickets each for Bangladesh.
Tigresses will have to score 113 runs in 20 overs to win the Asia Cup final.
