Afghanistan have posted a competitive score against Bangladesh in the 3rd T20I match at Dehradun's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday (Jun 7).
Winning the toss, Afghanistan scored 145 for six with opener Mohammad Shahzad posting 26 off 22 balls.
Samiullah Shenwari contributed 33 off 28 - the highest in the team, with skipper Asghar Stanikzai scoring 27 off 17, helped the Afghans reach 145 for six.
Bangladesh’s Nazmul Hasan bagged 2 wickets spending 18 runs with Abu Jayed taking 2 wickets for 27 runs.
Shakib Al Hasan, Ariful Haque bagged one wicket each.
History beckons for Afghanistan as they look for first-ever whitewash in a T20I against Bangladesh.
