Walsh to continue as head coach for Afghanistan T20Is

Courtney WalshThe Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Courtney Walsh Head Coach for the Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan in Dehradun, India, a BCB release said on Sunday.
Walsh had performed the same role during the Nidahas Trophy tri-nation in Sri Lanka in March this year.
Bangladesh will leave for Dehradun on May 29 to play three T20s on Jun 3, 5 and 7 with Shakib Al Hasan leading the side.
Walsh, 55, took charge as the bowling coach of the Bangladesh team in August 2016 and has been widely credited for lifting the standards of the pace bowlers since then.
