Unbeaten until their clash with the Kings on Wednesday (Jan 16), Dhaka Dynamites have been handed the taste of a loss for the first time in this year’s Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The Rajshahi Kings have beaten team Shakib-al-Hasan by 20 runs at the Sylhet International Stadium.

Winning the toss, Kings skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz chose to bat first and managed to put 136 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets thanks to Marshal Ayub’s 45 of 31 deliveries.

Sunil Narine claimed three wickets for the Dynamites.

Chasing 137, the mighty batting lineup of the Dynamites, featuring the likes of Shakib, Pollard and Russell, fell 20 runs short, which brought an end to their winning streak.

Arafat Sunny took 3 for 8 runs while skipper Miraz bagged 2 wickets from his 3 overs. Sunny was picked as the man of the match for his outstanding bowling while helped to keep the Dynamites batter in check.
