Khulna Titans are chasing 169, set by Rangpur Riders, to secure a win in their first match of the Bangladesh Premier League’s (BPL) sixth edition.

Opener Rilee Rossouw’s unbeaten 76 off 52 laid the foundation for the Riders, the defending champions, to set a big total for the Titans.

At the end of six overs Titans were 61 without a loss as their Irish, Bangladeshi opening duo Paul Stirling    and Junaid Siddique looking sharp on the pitch.

The match between Titans and Riders rolled on to the ground at 5:20pm Sunday (Jan 6) at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

Earlier Titans’ skipper Mahmudullah won the toss and chose to field first at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

Titans are eying to start the tournament with a win against Riders, who came to this match after losing the opening duel with the Chittagong Vikings on Saturday (Jan 5).
