West Indies have been bowled out at 111 runs in less than one hour of play in the 3rd day as it was again Shakib Al Hasan, the skipper and Mehidy Miraz who took the last five wickets in quick succession.

Miraz claimed his career-best seven wickets while Shakib, the top all-rounder took the rest.

West Indies started the 3rd day with 75/5 on the scorecard in reply to Bangladesh’s 508 in the first innings. The visitors were sent to follow on after Shakib-Mehidy duo claimed the rest five batters to pavilion in no time.

Bangladesh is eying to whitewash the Carrebeans in the second and final at Mirpur’s Shere Bangla National Stadium. A win in this Test match will be a sweet revenge for the Bangladeshis as they lost a Test series against the Windies in a similar fashion earlier this year.
