Mustafiz was the architect of Bangladesh’s crucial win against Afghanistan, bowling superbly and securing an unlikely win for Bangladesh when the odds were in favour of Afghanistan.
The same spirit was repeated against Pakistan, and now the country wants another spark from the taciturn lad, who is shy in front of a microphone but relentless on the field. For ‘The fizz’ as many like to call him affectionately, the best language is on the field.
When Bangladesh beat Pakistan, captain Mashrafe praised Mustafiz effusively, terming his bowling “extraordinary”.
Today, whole of Bangladesh waits for another storm from the lanky bowler. Hopefully, the cutter master will not disappoint.
