Bangladesh out of SAFF CUP

Bangladesh’s mission in the SAFF Suzuki Cup has ended as Nepal beat the host country 2-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.

Bangladesh played good football throughout the match but could take their chances.
On the other hand, Nepal were clinical.
The men in red drew first blood in the 33rd minute of the game through Bimal Gharti Magar.
Cornered, Jamie Day’s men went all out to secure at least a point but all of their attacks were thwarted by the Nepal side.
Desperate to find an equalizer, the Red and Greens committed too many men forward in the ding minutes of the game and Nepal took the chance to secure a 2-0 victory on the 90th minute.
With the entire Group A matches played, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan all have 6 points each but a superior goal difference saw Nepal top the group with Pakistan through to semi finals as runners-up and Bangladesh crashing out of the competition with the worst goal difference.
