Ruling Awami League mayoral candidate for Dhaka South City Corporation Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh will announce his polls manifesto on Wednesday (Jan 25).
Speaking to the media while campaigning in the capital's Bangshal area on Saturday (Jan 25), Taposh said they are receiving a huge response to their outlines for the development of Dhaka city.
"I want to start a fresh journey with the people's mandate to build a developed Dhaka," said Taposh before adding a 30-year plan has been taken to develop Bangshal and Kotwali areas and upheld its tradition.
On BNP''s allegations of its activists being attacked, Taposh said, "Our rivals are busy with complaining and national politics.
"Whereas we are busy for the development of Dhaka," he added.
